Each musician has their own speciality of genre which makes the music so interesting when they play together. With influences of jazz, gospel, progressive rock, classical and swing, they embrace a century of sounds from as early as the 1930s. Rae brings a welcomed element of storytelling to the jazz repertoire with no limit to the versatility of the vocal styles. Currently a protg of internationally renowned jazz sensation Jazzmeia Horn, Lydia Rae's dedication to both songwriting and singing with their extensive background in multiple genres is a refreshing breath of fresh air for the jazz community. "We are delighted to be performing back in Lichfield for their Jazz Festival! It is a privilege to be performing in the town where I started falling in love with this kind of music." - Lydia Rae
