Recognised as one of the UK's nest latin jazz and salsa pianists, Jim Blomeld has worked with such legends of the genre as Roberto Pla, Henry Fiol and Asere as well as a host of UK names from the world of jazz. Alongside Jim in the rhythm section is the brilliantly dynamic percussion section of Lisa Cherian and Jon Clark, their rhythmic chemistry having evolved from their collective experiences as being much in demand players in ensembles such as Bristol Salsa Orchestra, Dockside Latin Orchestra, Baila La Cumbia and Buena Bristol Social Club. The rhythm section is completed by the ever inventive bass playing of 'Tosh' Wijetunge who worked with Jim for several years in a piano trio that released two albums of original contemporary jazz compositions. Alongside Jonny Bruce's ery latin trumpet virtuosity is the brilliant and soulful Swiss born saxophonist Martin Kern who worked and recorded extensively in both Berlin and Vienna before moving to the UK in 2018.
