He managed 40, performing everywhere from the Deep Souths redneck bars to casinos & theatres in the nice bits. Over a decade or so, Joel lived the dream and worked with many of his comedy heroes, including Robin Williams. In 2008 though, he swapped all that for a narrowboat To this day, hes still floating around the UK searching for .. . hes not really sure. Last year, Channel 4s Narrow Escapes followed Joel on his travels as he attempted to pay homage to Phil Collins. On 1985s Live Aid concert, Phil did 2 shows on the same day, 6000 miles apart, travelling by Concorde. Could Joel do 2 shows in the same month, 60 miles apart, travelling by narrowboat?
