A night of jazz, funk, rhythm & blues with the Grammy award-winning talent Jon Cleary, taking us on a one-night journey to the bars and nightclubs of New Orleans. Since his first studio album in 1989, Jon has toured the world in the bands of Taj Mahal, John Scofield, Dr. John and Bonnie Raitt. Born in Britain but residing in The Big Easy for most of his life, his music pays homage to the classic repertoire of icons like Fats Domino, Dr. John and James Brooker whilst incorporating styles as diverse as 70s soul and R&B, gospel, Afro-Carribean and Afro-Cuban rhythms. A highly respected performer who’s been stunning audiences for four decades now, Jon joins us for an intimate solo performance this January.
