A prominent figure on the UK Jazz scene the multi-Award-winning Karen Sharp is universally admired for her melodic, accessible, distinctive sax playing. With six albums to her name she has won the British Jazz Award for best tenor sax on numerous occasions and has twice been a nominee in the Rising Star category of the US Downbeat Critics Poll. For this gig Karen will be appearing with her augmented trio (so a quartet, biggest trio in the World!) featuring Colin Oxley-guitar, Simon Thorpe-bass and honorary trio member Josh Morrison-drums.
