Kyazi Lugangira, UK Based Tanzanian singer-songwriter, guitarist and band leader of "Kihaya Blues" has emerged as a creative composer with music that blends Soul, Blues, Jazz, Latin and Hip Hop, with Roots coming from East, West, South Africa,Cape Verde, Madagascar and Caribbean Music.
Kyazi has featured as a rhythm guitarist and vocalist with West African kora players Sona Jobarteh and Jally Kebba Susso; Soul Jazz artists, Tone Richardson, Miryam Solomon, Bumi Thomas; Dance music producer Kay Suzuki; Latin, African,Soul and Dance music producer Koichi Sakai (Ghetto Lounge) Myoyu Jazz Soul Collective, singer songwriter and composers Amira Kheir and Jean Ndow.
Kihaya Blues have played at many venues across London including the Royal Festival Hall, Richmix, Strong Rooms, Passing Clouds, and the Hootanany and Kyazi has toured extensively around Africa, Europe, South,Central America and South East Asia.
