KINDRED SPIRITS represents the coming together of three of the UK’s most enduring 80’s alternative rock acts to create an unmissable triple bill of dark and atmospheric post punk music in a truly unique East London venue. Balaam And The Angel: formed in 1984 by the Morris brothers, have performed for 40+ years. They gained mainstream recognition with Virgin Records and "I'll Show You Something Special" (featured in "Trains, Planes And Automobiles"). The band recently released a 4 track EP "Forces Of Evil". Ghost Dance: formed in 1985 by Anne Marie Hurst (formerly of Skeletal Family) and Gary Marx (founding member of The Sisters Of Mercy), has re-emerged with a lineup of notable alternative rock musicians. The band have recently released a fantastic album of new material "Silent Shout". Rose Of Avalanche: An English alternative rock band from Leeds formed in 1984. Rose Of Avalanche have been responsible for creating some of the most recognisable and genre defining songs. They recently released "Rose Of Avalanche At The BBC" - a album of tracks that they recorded for the BBC that were transmitted on programmes by John Peel and Janice Long.
