Teachers Nino Jd Amuli & Anna So
Nino is known for his distinct, effortless smooth style of his dance. Having learnt from the likes of Eddy Vents, Vasco, Fabricio and Puto Chinez - he started teaching in 2013, keen to pass on his technical knowledge of the dance with tips and advice on musicality not just moves and tricks. In the same year he won the UK Kizomba championship and represented the UK in the Open Spain Competition in Madrid. He also represented England at Africadancar 2014 and in 2015 he came 3rd, getting through to the last stage in Lisbon and finishing in the top 10 among 47 competitors.
In 2014 Nino and his team started Kiz'xpression to spread his knowledge of kizomba and semba. Currently based in Birmingham, he also teaches all over the UK and abroad.
Anna has always been fascinated by music and dance but her actual dance journey started in the UK when she discovered the world of salsa and bachata in 2014. Soon after she fell in love with Kizomba and originally taught in Birmingham with Sol David. In 2017 they became UK Kizomba Champions before competing in the International Kizomba Finals in Portugal.
For Anna, dancing is a never-ending process of learning and a journey to self-discovery. Body movement, musicality and flow rest in the centre of Anna's approach to teaching and dancing. In her classes, she brings care and attention to detail, informing every step of the dance whilst having fun and spreading the passion for the dance and culture.
In their current collaboration, Anna and Nino, both strive to help their students connect with their bodies through music. They focus on the harmony between all the elements of the body to allow natural self-expression and flow that is driven by the music.

DJ Romi began her dancing journey at the age of 13 with Cuban Salsa and Bachata. Since, she has taken the deep dive into the Kizomba World with a special interest in Tarraxo and other styles of dance. Having travelled and gained knowledge and experience from a range of teachers, her goal is to promote various styles of dancing and music within the UK.In December 2023, she became the first UK Solo Styling Champion in Tarraxo and in February 2024, she won 3rd place at Global Tarraxo in Montreal, Canada.Having a background in music, Romi decided to start her DJ career in 2023. Since, she has received a growing amount of bookings.Romi is passionate about musicality and igniting the fire on the dance floor with a wide selection of music!!
