Lau Ro + Rose Io + Christina Deva

Part of Label Mates Festival
Lau Ro: Brazilian born, Brighton based composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist Lau Ro blends British folk, rock and jazz influences with their obsession with 60s & 70s Brazilian music. The result is a magical concoction of dreamy bossa, ambient folk and fuzzy tropicalia.
Rose Io (Rose Eye Oh) is a Brighton based writer, musician and visual artist, and has been making whimsical, surreal and dreamlike creations for many years. FKA Rokurokubi - where she worked on her songs with a band of friends, Rose Io is now releasing works under this new name. The two first singles that came out last year (’Moon Milk’ & ‘Meathouse I’) began the magical introduction to her world, and the soundscapes of her subconscious.
Christina Deva is a Greek vocal based musician and artist, interested in raw and unfiltered expression, and the power of transformation through the voice. Through her music Christina Deva aims to be a mirror of transpersonal metaphors that reflect the horrifying beauty of being alive.
