Charlie Stacey Trio Charlie Stacey is a London-based jazz fusion keys player known for his distinctive approach to Rhodes and synth textures. His new trio explores a sound influenced by the pioneering work of Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea, combined with futuristic, Brainfeeder-style grooves, astral RnB melodies and experimental piano. An Ivor Novello Award-winning songwriter and Tomorrows Warriors alumnus, Stacey has recorded with artists including Yussef Dayes, Venna, Dargz, and members of the Sun Ra Arkestra, and has performed live with Kamasi Washington, Ezra Collective, Mansur Brown and Nubya Garcia. His debut album The Light Beyond Time is out now on Night Dreamer Records. The trio features Max Luthert on bass and Jordan Hadfield on drums.
