They have been studying Studland's seagrass since 1990, lobbying the government for protection of its seagrass and seahorses from the damaging impacts of boat anchoring. Studland Bay was formally declared a Marine Conservation Zone in 2019. The Studland Bay Marine Partnership has raised 500,000 to install eco-moorings which do not impact the seagrass. This has allowed the seagrass to recover and they have seen a steady increase in the number of of its iconic seahorses. Learn more about this with Ken and Jenny!
