Since the first publication of the book Alices Adventures in Wonderland in 1865, there have been countless adaptations and re-imaginings of the piece, and we are pleased to bring this fresh and original one to the Conquest Theatre. Alice loves make-believe and dreaming of fantastical places much to the annoyance of her older sister Mathilda. But when Alice finds herself transported to another world and stuck inside Wonderland, its not quite as fun as she thought! She meets a series of hilarious and kooky characters, but can any of them help her get back home? Curiouser and curiouser This adaptation, based on the original book but with some modern twists, beckons the audience to follow the plight of some well-loved traditional characters, immerse themselves in all things Wonderland and watch as the mayhem unfolds. Poignant in places and laugh-out-loud funny in others, the talented young cast are bound to give the audience a real treat.
