Artist talk with ceramic artist Stephen Dixon. Stephen Dixon is an award winning British ceramic artist with an international reputation for his socio-political narratives in contemporary ceramics. Dixon will be talking with us about his artistic practice and share insights gained from working with refugees while creating his award-winning piece _Transient: The Ship of Dreams and Nightmares_, which has been recently acquired by the Maritime Museum. This event will also feature a screening of Breakable (2019), a film created by Johnny Magee in collaboration with the artist. Audience members will also have the opportunity to engage with the artist in a Q&A session at the end of the event. This event is free, but requires booking.
