Living with Dick Francis and taking over the literary reins - Felix Francis

Few people can have inherited and developed a better knowledge of the inside world of horse racing and crime - than Felix Francis.
Felix is the younger son of Dick Francis, the celebrated British jockey and writer of immensely popular thrillers set in the world of horse racing.
He grew up in a house where talk would be about the damage a bullet might do to a mans guts rather than the more mundane topics of everyday life. Having studied physics and electronics at university, Felix sometimes advised his father on technical elements in his books, becoming increasingly involved.
In 2006 he completely took over the writing of Dick Francis novels. Since his fathers death in 2010 there have been another thirteen novels, the latest, Syndicate, was published in September 2024.
