POP up! is a brand-new event series celebrating North West pop music songwriters - from chart-ready bangers to pop musical theatre storytelling. The series kicks off with LOWRY EDIT: MUSICAL THEATRE MEETS POP, a sparkling showcase of original songs, fresh voices and full main character energy. 

Expect big voices, bold lyrics and pop-theatre drama — think Wicked, Six and & Juliet vibes with Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX and Shawn Mendes energy. 

Created by PJ Cunningham (PEEJ Productions) as part of a trilogy supported by the Early Career Promoter Fund (PRS Foundation / Arts Council England / DCMS). Presented in partnership with Lowry, in collaboration with new pop musical Dead Famous.
