The List

LTB 25: Every Brilliant Thing

LTB 25: Every Brilliant Thing
You’re seven years old. Mum’s in hospital. Dad says she’s ‘done something stupid’. She finds it hard to be happy. You start a list of everything that’s brilliant about the world. Everything worth living for. Ice cream. Water fights. Staying up past your bedtime and being allowed to watch TV. The colour yellow. Rollercoasters. People falling over. A play about depression and the lengths we go to for those we love. A participatory experience that embarks on a journey to find joy in the everyday. “One of the funniest plays you’ll ever see about depression – and possibly one of the funniest plays you’ll ever see, full stop.” – The Guardian Produced by Aberdeen-based Ten Feet Tall Theatre Supported by Aberdeen Creative Funding Ten Feet Tall is a theatre company based in North East Scotland. We provide opportunities for local artists, we tell stories for the here and now and we broaden access to theatre for adults, young people and communities in our ‘Participate Aberdeen’ programme. 14+ Content includes: audience interaction, references to suicide and depression.
