Come and meet the England world cup rugby winning hero Lewis Moody at our Sporting Club October lunch at the magnificent Quaglinos, and hear a story of his stellar sporting career and an inspirational, present day journey.
Lewis also won everything domestically with the Leicester Tigers, including seven Premiership titles and two European Cups. He played 71 times for England, twice for the British & Irish Lions, winning three Six Nations (and a Grand Slam) and of course the World Cup in 2003.
Last October he was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease and has since thrown himself with the same vigour he tackled as a rugby player into an awareness and fundraising campaign driven by the expectation of finding positive answers to this cruel condition and creating a lasting legacy.
