MAC Art Camp Eco Explorers (7-11 yrs)
Let your child’s imagination run wild this summer! The MAC Creative Learning team have partnered with Anann's Arch who are a group of artists who make, create and inspire. We have invited artists Ash and Fionnuala from Anann’s Arch to explore CLIMATE!. This week-long adventure is packed with playful, hands-on workshops that blend creativity, nature and climate awareness in the most inspiring and imaginative way. Through art, storytelling and creative exploration, children will create magical artworks and meaningful group projects that celebrate the beauty of our planet. From crafting colourful planet pal puppets, weaving wild landscapes, to building mini underwater fantasy worlds and climate activist banners, each day is bursting with fun while exploring climate action. With games, nature based crafts and thoughtful conversations, kids will gain a deeper connection to the environment while learning how to care for it. By the end of the week, they'll leave with new friends, fresh ideas and a newfound sense of pride in becoming eco-warriors in their own communities. Set within the creative hub of the MAC Belfast, this unforgettable summer experience will ignite your child’s imagination, build creative confidence and inspire a deeper connection to the world through art. Our summer camp activities are designed to suit two age groups 7-11 years (morning session) and post primary school young people aged 11-14 years (afternoon sessions).
