Malvern Big Band
LIVE ON STAGE
The Malvern Big Band, formed in 2001, and this year celebrating its 25th anniversary perform a wide range of Big Band jazz, from the classic repertoire of the swing era, such as Duke Ellington, Count Basie and others, through to contemporary arrangements of Pop and Soul hits by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson and many others, as well as modern jazz pieces by masters such as Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny and more. The band, under the musical direction of Mike Halliday, feature some of the best jazz musicians in the region, and perform regularly around Worcestershire and neighbouring counties, including an annual Christmas show at Malvern Cube.
This will be the band's first visit to Bromyard since 2012, and will also feature the band's 3 vocalists. Expect a night of exciting Big Band jazz!
