Manchester Ableton Live User Group Meeting

You are invited to join us at the next Ableton User Group Meeting taking place at Spirit Studios in Manchester!
From complete beginners to the more experienced, the Ableton User Group is designed to facilitate ongoing collaboration between all types of music makers, artists and creatives, regardless of what stage they are at in their musical journey.
For this meeting User Group Member Tom has kindly offered to run a session onVideosync - which is a suite of devices that can be used inside Ableton Live Suite. Treat video like audio - apply your existing knowledge of audio modulation and track layering to video clips and effects.
Videosync enables you to create video compositions either using visual instruments, or by importing your own video clips. Use Videosync to create more original social media reels, full-length music videos, or generative live visuals.
Tom will run through some examples of how hes used Videosync in past video projects and break down his techniques and tips. The session assumes no knowledge of Videosync and Tom will cover things from a beginner level.
Tom has played guitar and piano since his teens and discovered Ableton in 2023 - which lead him to fall in love with sound design and electronic production. He now releases music as apropos including collaborations with artists internationally, and has played a couple of live gigs in the UK and Germany.
Depending on time (and how many questions we get on Videosync!) I'm planning on doing a demonstration of how to work creatively with samples in Ableton Live.
Note for this session we're back to our usual evening slot:
Arrival and introductions from 18:30 for a 19:00 start.
The session will finish around 21:00 and there will be plenty of opportunity for Q&A, networking and discussion.
As always, entry isFree for everyone - however we do ask you to RSVP as there are limited spaces in the venue and we will require your names for the studio sign-in system.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Cheers
David
