Former Wet Wet Wet frontman turned hugely successful solo artist and stage performer Born Mark McLachlan in Clydebank in 1965, Marti Pellow formed Wet Wet Wet when he was only 17. The band went on to score huge hits in the UK and further afield with Wishing I Was Lucky, Goodnight Girl, A Little Help From My Friends, Sweet Little Mystery and more. However, it was their cover of The Troggs Love Is All Around, taken from the soundtrack to Four Weddings And A Funeral, that would etch their names into the record books, staying at No.1 for 15 weeks and selling almost two million copies.
