The Old Black Cat Jazz Club meets each month, on the third Friday of the month, for relaxed performances in beautiful surroundings.

Pianist Martin Litton is an authority on early jazz piano, from ragtime to stride to swing, and their pianists, including: Earl Hines, Jelly Roll Morton, Fats Waller and Teddy Wilson.
Martin has appeared at jazz clubs and festivals worldwide, working with an array of established artists, including: Alan Barnes, Alex Clarke, Kenny Davern, Wild Bill Davison, Scott Hamilton, Humphrey Lyttelton, Clare Teal and Enrico Tomasso. In addition to holding the piano chair in the all-star Midnite Follies Orchestra Martin has a long-standing relationship as guest artist with Tynesides New Century Ragtime Orchestra.
