23 year-old London based alternative folk/pop artist and writer Matilda Cole’s talent lies in her relationship to language - circling heavy and poignant themes with nuance and restraint, avoiding cliché. Inspired by timeless, story driven writers, she always strives to put the internal into words. Songwriting is an act of translation for Matilda, translating our inner most desires, fears, and passions into great lyrics and melody.

Matilda worked closely with Will Bloomfield and Jake Gosling on her next body of work, due out later this year on Jake's Hotel Records via Warner.

She is also one of the most exciting emerging new top liners in the UK, her cuts with Mae Hill and Sabyna alone totalling over 8 million streams in 2025.

In the dance space, last year Matilda had two cuts with emerging DJ Will Manning via RCA, with more dance cuts slated for 2026.
