Join our medieval painting expert for a costumed talk and hands on workshop in the beautiful surroundings of our Medieval Great Hall.

During this full day workshop, you will:
Discover the strange and wonderful creatures found in medieval manuscripts
Learn how to make your own historic pigments using shells as palettes, just as they would have done in the medieval era
Create your own artwork inspired by what you have learnt throughout the day

Whether you're a complete beginner or already love painting and want to try something completely unique, this workshop is for you!

Tickets cost 20 per person, which includes tea & coffee throughout the day
