Mejedi Owusu with Francis Tulip Trio

The Old Black Cat Jazz Club meets each month, on the third Friday of the month, for relaxed performances in beautiful surroundings. All are welcome.
From Suffolk (sixth form college) to London (Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance) to New York (The Juilliard School), Mejedi Owusu is a star in the making. At the age of 20, trumpeter Mejedi is rubbing shoulders with some of the Big Apples most illustrious names, not least pianist Emmet Cohen.
As a student at Juilliard, Mejedi has appeared at Dizzys Club (Lincoln Center), Lucilles in Harlem and Smalls in Greenwich Village. At the end of the current semester Mejedi will be returning to the UK for a short visit, catching up with family and friends, and doing a few performances in the region. If ever there was an I was there occasion, this is it!
Join Mejedi,
Francis Tulip (guitar),
Tommy Fuller (double bass) and
Noah Stone (drums)
