Join us on board the world-famous Mersey Ferry for a celebration of the Merseybeat Era with Merseybeat tribute band: Searchin’. In the Swinging Sixties, The Cavern Club organised a number of concerts on The Royal Iris known as the ‘Riverboat Shuffles’, which saw local Merseybeat acts, and four young Liverpool lads called The Beatles deliver a wealth of spellbinding performances, attracting audiences from far and wide. We will be recreating the magic of the Riverboat Shuffle cruises on board so get ready to ‘Twist and Shout’ the night away to the vibrant sounds of the Swinging Sixties era, with music from the famous Beat groups from Liverpool including classic hits from The Beatles, The Swinging Blue Jeans, Gerry and the Pacemakers and many others from the fabulous sixties. Drinks and snacks are available throughout the night from our fully licensed bar. The live music performance area is situated on the upper deck, which is accessible by stairs only. We reserve the right to change the advertised music artist. The main deck of the vessel is fully accessible and includes an accessible toilet and bar area. Any alcohol must be purchased on board the ferry. We reserve the right to refuse entry to inebriated/intoxicated passengers and no refund will be given. We strictly operate a zero drugs policy. Bag checks will take place prior to boarding. Food and drinks will be available to buy on board. This cruise is for adults aged 18+ and is not suitable for children.
