Metro Jazz is The Met’s own community jazz orchestra led by experienced saxophonist and educator Munch Manship. Metro Jazz is open to anyone aged 16-100 (and beyond!) who plays an instrument to a competent standard (but don’t worry about grades) and is interested in learning about and playing jazz music.
