Mind on the Wall: Mental Health Awareness Walk

You’re invited to this year’s Mind on the Wall event – our annual guided charity walk along the scenic sights of Hadrian’s Wall to mark Mental Health Awareness Week.
This 7-mile (10k trek) is led by expert Northumberland National Park Rangers and offers a wonderful opportunity to explore a magnificent part of the historic landscape, including the iconic location of The Sill: National Landscape and Discovery Centre.
Why join?
Enjoy moderate exercise – Stretch your legs, breathe in the fresh countryside air, and boost your mental wellbeing. Expect some moderate climbing as we explore an amazing section of Hadrian’s Wall.
Discover nature and history – Learn fascinating facts about the area from the knowledgeable rangers.
Connect with others – Whether you join us solo, with friends, family, or colleagues, you’ll be welcomed into a friendly group of like-minded walkers and TNM volunteers.
Celebrate with refreshments – After the walk, we’ll gather at The Sill National Landscape and Discovery Centre to relax and enjoy some well-earned treats.
Discover hidden gems at the Wellbeing Market – As a Mind on the Wall member you’ll have access to The Sill: National Landscape Discovery Centre’s annual Wellbeing Makers Market, which we’ll be making a stop at for you to pick up some goodies and a memento of your time with us.
Have an impact on local mental health support services – every penny raised at our Mind on the Wall event supports local services provided by Tyneside and Northumberland Mind.
We’re hoping for a gloriously sunny day, but come rain or shine, it promises to be an unforgettable experience. Sign up today and be part of a meaningful event that promotes wellbeing, community, and appreciation for the outdoors.
