Miraa May

Miraa May
Catch music with a decisively London attitude, and feel the influence of a north London upbringing, in a performance from the self-described ‘Tottenham songbird’. The London-based Algerian singer/songwriter’s debut album, Tales Of a Miracle earned her three MOBO nominations for Best Album, Best Female Act and Best R&B/Soul Act. Female empowerment is at the heart of her music, and her debut was made with collaborations with fellow artists like RAYE, Mahalia, Dyo, Stefflon Don and Jorja Smith. Beyond her solo work, her songwriting talents have led to co-writing credits on hits like Jorja Smith and Burna Boy’s ‘Be Honest,’ Mahalia’s ‘Jealous,’ and Little Simz’s ‘I Love You, I Hate You’ short film. Part of Little Simz' Meltdown at the Southbank Centre. The ticket price includes a £2 venue restoration levy. Presented by Southbank Centre. For ages 14+. Under-14s must be accompanied by an adult.
