Moor Poets is a community of friendly poets based in and around Dartmoor in Devon for more, see moorpoets.weebly.com. This evening of poetry readings features Fiona Benson, reading and talking about her work, plus an Open Mic session.

Fiona Benson PhD, FRSL, is a poet, teacher and mother. She's had four poetry collections published by Jonathan Cape. The most recent, Midden Witch, was the Poetry Book Society's choice. Her second collection, Vertigo & Ghost won the Forward Prize. Her first three collections were all nominated for the T.S. Eliot Prize. Other recent work has included co-translations of Ukrainian poetry and writing a script for the Belgian dance company Ultima Vez.
