MTH Performing Arts provides quality training in acting, voice work, singing, movement & writing for performance for 6-12 year olds. MTHPA aims to build confidence, ensemble & performance skills, encourages students to take ownership and to meet peers who share the same interests. Workshops are led in a fun and fast-paced environment, with students expected to work hard and to the best of their ability. Our home is the beautiful historic building, Middlesbrough Town Hall which boasts professional performance spaces where the students train on a weekly basis. We offer a range of performance opportunities where students can perform in parades, events, showcases and other celebrations across Middlesbrough. Our tutors have a wide variety of training and continue to work across the industry keeping their practice current which allows them to deliver top quality workshops with the students at MTHPA. We work in an all accessible and inclusive environment and celebrate differences widely across our provision. NEW PARTICIPANTS We welcome new students and offer a free taster session. Free bursaries are available for young people and their families facing barriers (medical, financial or otherwise) – please contact us to arrange.
