Music is the Breath of Life - Wellington

All proceeds to The Jon Hayward Memorial Trust, supporting children's access to music
The Jon Hayward Memorial Trust(reg.charity1121391) was set up in 2007 and since then has awarded well over 300 annual bursaries to Shropshire children ages 7-11 who would have been unable to access music lessons without this financial support.
The charity was set up in memory of Jon Hayward, who was born in Much Wenlock and lived in the immediate area for most of his life. He was a well known folk musician and singer who died in 2006, aged 53. Jons great love of music, children and Shropshire led his family and friends to set up the charity as a fitting way to remember him.
The charity is reliant on fundraising activities (as well as support from a local legacy) to be able to continue providing its support to children in the hope that music will become a life long interest for them.
