Nether Edge Festival Presents Sarah Heneghan & Ruth Webber
As part of this years Nether Edge Festival, join us for an evening of bold, genre-defying music from two of Sheffields most inventive and captivating performers: Sarah Heneghan and Ruth Webber. Sarah Heneghan is a powerhouse drummer and composer known for her dynamic solo project Power Out, blending live percussion with electronics to create intricate, high-energy soundscapes. Her work pushes the boundaries of rhythm and movement, building immersive, beat-driven journeys that are as visually compelling as they are sonically rich. Ruth Webber is a singer, pianist and composer with a rare gift for crafting intimate, emotionally honest songs that span folk, classical and experimental genres. Her performances are grounded in stillness, vulnerability, and lyrical clarity often drawing comparisons to the likes of Agnes Obel and Laura Marling. This double-bill brings together two unique voices in contemporary music, each exploring the edges of sound and storytelling in their own way, and promises an evening thats fresh, surprising, and deeply moving.
