Nether Edge Festival Presents Sarah McQuaid

As part of this years Nether Edge Festival, prepare to be transported by the spellbinding voice and storytelling mastery of Sarah McQuaid, whose performances are as intimate as they are expansive.
With a voice described as lush and chocolatey, Sarah weaves together original songs and carefully chosen covers across a landscape of folk, jazz, blues and beyond. Her toolkit is broad acoustic and electric guitars, piano, and even the occasional drum but its her warmth, presence and connection with the audience that linger long after the final note.
Born in Spain, raised in Chicago, and now based in rural England, Sarah brings a world of influence to her music. Her songs feel like stories whispered over time: sometimes grounding, sometimes whimsical, always resonant.
One audience member captured it best:
Attending her concert feels like diving into a book of short stories some resonate deeply, some spark your imagination, others make you pause and reflect. You dont just watch a performance you become part of it.
