Next to Normal

Next to Normal
Dad’s an architect, Mom rushes to pack lunches and pour cereal, Daughter and Son are bright, wise-cracking teens, appearing to be a typical American family. And yet their lives are anything but normal, because Mom’s been battling manic depression for 18 years.

Winner of three Tony Awards and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Next to Normal is an unflinching and deeply moving rock musical that explores one family’s struggle to live with – and love through – mental illness.
