Exeter Laughter Lab returns to Exeter Phoenix on 5th October with another unforgettable
night of live stand-up comedy, featuring one of the UK's most electrifying headline acts
alongside an outstanding supporting line-up.
Headlining the evening is the incredible Nick Helm, one of Britain's most distinctive and
high-energy comedians. A familiar face from Live at the Apollo, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does
Countdown and his critically acclaimed BBC sitcom Uncle, Nick has earned a reputation as
one of the UK's most exhilarating live performers. Blending razor-sharp stand-up, musical
comedy and gloriously chaotic energy, every performance is packed with huge laughs and
unforgettable moments.
Opening the show is the brilliant Louise Young, one of the fastest-rising stars in British
comedy. Following a standout appearance on Live at the Apollo, Louise has established
herself as one of the most exciting new voices on the circuit, winning audiences over with
her sharp writing, warm personality and brilliantly relatable storytelling.
Hosting the evening is audience favourite Tom Glover, whose quick wit, effortless crowd
work and infectious energy make him one of the South West's most sought-after comedy
hosts. From the moment the show begins, Tom ensures the atmosphere is buzzing and the
laughs keep coming all night long.
