Olivia Trummer is considered a one-of-a-kind artist. The classically trained jazz musician draws from a particularly wide musical spectrum and fascinates equally as a pianist, singer, improviser and composer. Her exceptional talent and unique musical approach have lead her to sharing the stage with the likes of Kurt Rosenwinkel, Eric Clapton and Bobby McFerrin, and performing at festivals like Montreux Jazz Festival, Umbria Jazz and London Jazz Fest. Her solo program „Light out of darkness“ is a musical journey contemplating the power of love, faith and imagination in turbulent times. Olivia will be presenting her original music as well as her - often surprising! - renditions of popular songs by Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Oleta Adams and others, while also paying tribute to her deep connection to classical music.
