OLLIE KAIPER-LEACH returns to Piano Smithfield with his superb band and special guests.
OLLIE KAIPER-LEACH is the quintessential ‘Piano Man’ - a restless soul who tells stories with a musical language formed from years of playing in bars, musicals and bands around the world. With blues at his core, his music touches jazz, funk, songbook, and country, with intricate arrangements reflective of a true band-leader. You may know him from the West End shows The Choir of Man, Mania! the ABBA Tribute, or spreading his love of songwriting and music theory on TikTok. Following the appearance of his 2022 single ‘Read ‘Em & Leap’ in the upcoming feature film Do Us Part, Ollie took a break to record his debut album, titled A Place To Land.
Multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter ROSIE HOLLOWAY blends soul, folk and jazz with a distinctly classic British songwriting style. Inspired by artists such as Bill Withers, Eva Cassidy, Elton John and The Beatles, she has secured a publishing deal with BMG and performed at Upstairs at Ronnie Scott’s, Glastonbury Festival and more. Her debut EP London Girl captures the story of a working-class woman in her 20s, exploring life’s trials and tribulations with humour and heartfelt honesty.
Emerging UK multi instrumentalist singer JEMMA JOHNSON writes emotive songs and performs them with an intensity that commands any room. She says “Music has always been my escape from the chaos and the best way to express intense emotions.”
