Members of Ayr Choral are again preparing to go to Glasgow for a concert in the awesome St Mungo's Cathedral. Ayr Choral is a large mixed voice choir who are nearing their 150th birthday and sing a wide variety of choral works. The programme for the free informal afternoon concert on Saturday May 24th includes music by Rachmaninov, Jonathan Dove, James MacMillan, Philip Cooke, and a miscellany of traditional Scottish Music.. Andrew MacTaggart and Jenna Martin will conduct the choir supported by Andrew Forbes the Director of Music at Glasgow Cathedral, and Dida Condria, prize winning pianist.
