Headlining this event is house music DJ Christian Woodyatt. With a clubbing pedigree that stretches all the way back to a residency at Venus, Nottinghams legendary dance music club in the early 90s, Christian knows the tunes and how to work a dancefloor, taking you on a reassuring journey through joyous club classics. Having played all over the UK at some of its memorable club nights such as To The Manor Born, Sugarshack and Ministry of Sound, his recently established radio show Feel Love Friday goes from strength to strength on Crackers Radio.
Starting the party is our resident DJ Danfos, an avid house music lover with DJing credits at clubs in Canterbury (Chills), Ashford (Liquid) and Folkestone (La Parisienne). He currently hosts Our House Live on Radio Faversham.
Adding to the atmosphere is a photographic exhibition of iconic dance music images taken by photographer Tony Davis @tonydavisphoto.
Your host for the night is former 90s DJ agent Jane. As part of the bar staff team at Nottinghams Venus, she was there for such iconic nights as Chuff Chuff, Flying at Venus and Ask Yer Dad. Setting up one of the first dance music DJ agencies in 1992, she went on to book and manage some of the 90s biggest DJs before creating the UKs first all-girl DJ club tour A Gift From The Gods in 1997.
