OTL25: Paul Higgs presents 'Jeepers Creepers'
Paul Higgs presents an evening of music by Louis Armstrong. Louis was probably the most influential jazz musician of all time. His personality as well as his musical ability helped popularise jazz as well as break down racial barriers. Paul plays tunes such as When It’s Sleepy Time Down South, Indiana, Cornet Chop Suey, Jeepers Creepers, What A Wonderful World, Strutting With Some Barbecue, Black and Blue, and Georgia, amongst others. Paul was a Musical Director at the National Theatre and the RSC, and has performed with Sir Peter Maxwell Davis, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Johnny Dankworth, Lulu, Tony Hatch, John Williams, and Nancy Wilson. He has also performed in major concert venues around the world such as the Royal Festival Hall, Berlin Concert Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Ronnie Scott’s, and The Stables, as well as Cadogan Hall’s Culford Room. Paul is renowned for his magical sound and exceptional skill.
