Panafrica In Rhythm

Celebrate Pan-Africanism through rhythm, lineage and sound with artists responding to the visual arts exhibition, co-hosted by Moses Boyd and Jamz Supernova.
In partnership with The Oracle Collective, this concert invites artists to respond to artworks featured in the Project a Black Planet: Exhibition alongside guest ensembles for a performance exploring the UK experience of Pan-Africanism.
Breaking down colonial barriers such as genre, expect a rich and sonic journey tracing from the roots of Nyabinghi to London diasporic collectivism while creating an open space for artists to present rhythms of their past, present and future.
Bold, immersive and deeply rooted in community, this is a night of boundary-pushing sound where tradition meets experimentation and global influences merge on stage.
Featuring Asheber & The Afrikan Revolution, Bonita x SLICKnBOBBY Present: Dub vs Cumbia, Jas Kayser introducing Emma Fuzia, Jamz Supernova, Jerry Brown, Kwake Bass, Moses Boyd, Steam Down & friends.
Presented by The Barbican.
