ON SALE FRIDAY 2 MAY AT 10am Tickets - £15 Let’s kick it old scwl. Phoenix dance and fitness academy, are taking you back in time with their annual showcase at the Riverfront. The dance academy is led by Gemma Levan who loves to provide the young people from different areas of her hometown (Newport) the opportunity to dance. The classes are fully inclusive and offer different styles of dance (contemporary, commercial and K-pop) allowing the students to not only develop their dance technique but also be part of the Phoenix family. This performance is the culmination of months of hardwork to showcase our dancers from our different areas: Maesglas, Malpas, Summerhill and St Patricks. Watch performers from ages 3 all the way to 19 performing to 90s classics and share their love of dance. See the handpicked advanced groups excel and challenge themselves with complex choreography. As the 90s were all about sharing the love we are once again joined by Connect Theatre company who will wow you with their musical theatre performance. Join us for an evening of fun, good music and above all dance that will leave you saying Now that’s what I call Phoenix! All dances are choreographed and curated by Gemma Le van with assistance from Ceri-ann Owen.
