British pianist Ashley Fripp has established an international career as a recitalist, concerto soloist, and chamber musician, performing across Europe, Asia, North America, Africa, and Australia. He has appeared in many of the worlds leading venues, including Carnegie Hall, the Vienna Musikverein, Amsterdams Concertgebouw, the Philharmonie halls of Cologne, Paris, Luxembourg and Warsaw, Brussels Bozar, Londons Royal Festival, Barbican and Wigmore Halls, the Athens Megaron, and Stockholms Konserthuset.
Ashley has earned prizes in over a dozen major competitions, among them the Hamamatsu, Birmingham and Leeds International Piano Competitions, the Royal Over-Seas League, the Concours Europen de Piano, and the Guildhall Schools Gold Medal. He received the Worshipful Company of Musicians Princes Prize and was named an ECHO Rising Star. He has performed at prominent festivals across the UK and Europe and once played an open-air Chopin recital for 2,500 listeners in Warsaw. His broadcasts, recordings, and doctoral research on Thomas Ads further highlight his artistic profile.
