You will develop some different watercolour portrait painting techniques that will build your confidence and help you complete one or more watercolour portrait in a day. Photographs and photocopies will be used as source material for the portraits eliminating a lot of the time usually taken to draw out before painting. Please bring with you: Watercolour paper (NOT or Rough surface is recommended)- a few sheets. Watercolour Paints Watercolour brushes at least one round brush No.8, 10 or 12 in size (other brushes optional) Water pots. Kitchen roll. Palette or plate for mixing colours on. A4 Images of a portrait that you want to paint on printing paper. This can be a quick print but you must also have the image in colour form (print or digital). Trace down or tracing paper optional and if images are a good size to trace.
