Pride was a Riot! Queer punk unofficial, unaffiliated Edinburgh Pride afterparty gig for riot grrrls, gayz, guyz and theyz. Live music from: Martha May and the Mondays Fronted by multi-instrumentalist and prolific songwriter Martha May McKay, Glasgow band Martha and the Mondays have carved out a name for their bold, eclectic sound—one that fuses feral punk energy with cinematic layers of violin, saxophone, distorted bass, synth, and gnarly vocals. Their early releases have already caught the attention of BBC Radio Scotland, and their electrifying live shows have grazed stages in some of Glasgow’s finest venues, OVO Hydro, King Tut’s, and Saint Luke’s. Brat Coven Brat Coven are a doom punk band hailing from Glasgow, Scotland, born from the ethos of riot grrrl and a frustration at the lack of opportunities for women and trans people in the music industry. They create energetic, cathartic songs; powerful lyrics steeped with feminist messages, catchy riffs and haunting vocals. Blonde Secret Fired up female-fronted punk rock band blasting out loud fun and sunny anthems to make you dance! Gender neutral toilets. Wheelchair accessible venue with accessible toilet.
