A concert displaying the development of the string quartet from Haydn to Beethoven, performed by the Resol Quartet. The event is presented by Linlithgow Arts Guild and all are welcome. Programme: Haydn: String Quartet Op.74 No.1 in C major Schubert String Quartet No. 9 in G minor, D173 - Interval - Beethoven String Quartet Op.59 No.3 in C major, Rasumovsky No 3 The Resol String Quartet was formed in August 2018 at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, bringing together friends united by their love for this style of music. In a constant pursuit of excellence, these young artists share their joy of music-making and act as ambassodors for chamber music.
