Having forged their sound through years immersed in Glasgow's DIY punk and queer club scenes, comfort have evolved into one of the UK's most brutally cathartic live acts. The sibling duo of Natalie on vocals and production and Sean on drums channel raw emotion through a collision of live rhythm, electronic texture and unflinching honesty. Their music reaches for liberation rather than tolerance, dissecting modern life with urgency and compassion. After touring extensively across Europe and Japan, the band continue to build on their reputation for performances that are as physically charged as they are emotionally resonant.
Restless Taxis
Restless Taxis is a DIY queer and POC-led band formed in East London in 2019. The band has maintained a DIY ethos, pioneering a blend of 90s rock with rave culture through their first DIY event, restless basslines, which took place in Edgware Road underpass on 1st Apr. 2023.
Faking Pretty
Faking Pretty are a female fronted queer diy emo band from across the central belt. Rooted in DIY from the very beginning; playing a show in a livingroom, recording a demo in a bathroom. The band cherishes community in DIY, bringing its ethos across with us to London. Taking influence from 2nd wave emo, hardcore and mathcore, the band speaks on issues from losing friends, drug abuse, complicated queer relationships and disabilities such as diabetes.
£12 on the door / £10 concession (student, unemployed, Universal Credit, refugee etc). 10pm finish.
Wheelchair accessible venue with accessible toilet. Gender neutral toilets. 14+ (under 18s must be accompanied by adult guardian). No flashing lights. If you need a ticket for a carer please email [email protected].
