Two of Rachmaninov's most romantic masterpieces: the thrilling (and difficult!) 3rd Piano Concerto, made famous in Shine, will be played by international pianist Simon Callaghan, following a spectacular 2nd concerto in Cheltenham last year.

The beautiful, nostalgic 2nd Symphony, especially the heartbreaking clarinet solo in the slow movement - has been high on Classic FM's chart for nearly 20 years.
