Radio Blah Blah with Guy Lloyd LIVE

Guy Lloyd has a brand new show. But this is a little different! Incorporating a radio studio and a live performance space, Guy is turning radio up to '11', with an exciting and immersive event for the good people of Brighton (and even Hove are welcome).
Remember The Tube? TFI Friday? This is the radio equivalent. Live performances from bands, solo artists, comedians, poets, you name it, anything could happen on this show. Alongside the live performances, theyll be interviews with big names from across the city and beyond, all in front of a live audience. That live audience being you. And your friends. And family. And possibly, domestic animals (although wed take non-domestic).
This month we welcomeHatter, Ellie Pepper, and George Crump.
Hatter is an emerging UK artist known for his genre-blending sound that spans Hip Hop, Grime, Jazz and R&B. His unique style, inspired by his upbringing and nurtured in his local youth centre in the late 00s, has begun to make waves in the UK music scene. This has earned him a growing fanbase and support from publications like NOTION, Earmilk and British GQ Magazine and national radio stations likeBBC1Xtra, BBC Radio 1 and Kiss FM. With his sophomore project The Soul Pack, Hatter is set to elevate his career and continue pushing the envelope of UK rap music.Hatter will be performing this project live with his band Lymejuce over the summer, including a slot at festivals Love Supreme, The Great Escape and dates in Germany.
Hailing from North London, Ellie Pepper uses influences from renown jazz, R&B and Hiphop legends. Infusing timeless jazz melodiesreminiscent of Sarah Vaughan with the seductive allure of Sade and the whimsical harmonies of Kali Uchis, Pepper's voice transports listeners to a realm where old-school charm meets sultry seductress.
George Crump is a Brighton-based synth-pop producer and songwriter creating emotionally honest, collaboration-driven tracks with female and non-binary vocalists. As a non-binary artist, their work centres queer experience and visibility - not only in theme, but in practice, building space for underrepresented voices across every project. As a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults) George developed their love of music through watching countless hours of Disney Channel. This golden era of pop can be heard in Georges songs, as they carry that same sense of catchy, heartfelt storytelling.
